Dar Window Cleaning is a family-run exterior property maintenance business serving the Greater Toronto Area. We are the ones who receive and handle any information you send us through this website — it is not passed to a call centre, a lead-broker, or a franchise network. Information You Give Us

Our quote form asks for the following. Every field is optional — the only practical requirement is that you leave us at least one way to reply, either a phone number or an email address:

• Your name — so we know who we are speaking to
• Phone number and/or email address — so we can send you the quote
• Property address — to confirm you are in our service area and to size the job accurately
• Service you are interested in — so we quote the right work
• Any notes you choose to add — anything else you want us to know

If you phone, text, email or message us on WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation for the same purposes described below.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, this one uses Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. These record things such as which pages you viewed, roughly where you are located (city level, not your street), what type of device and browser you used, whether you arrived from a Google ad or a search result, and whether you tapped our phone number or submitted the quote form.

We use this to understand which of our pages are useful and whether our advertising is working. We do not use it to build a personal profile of you, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.

How Your Information Is Used

Only for the reasons you would expect: to prepare and send you a quote, to arrange and carry out work you have booked, to contact you about that work, to keep proper business and tax records, and to understand how our website and advertising perform.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

Who Else Touches Your Data

Only the services that make this website function:

• Netlify — hosts this website and processes quote form submissions before delivering them to us
• Google (Analytics and Ads) — provides the website statistics and advertising measurement described above

These providers operate their own servers, which may be located outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored there can in principle be accessed under the laws of that country. If you would rather not have your details pass through the website at all, phone or email us directly and we will take them down ourselves.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it — for example in response to a valid court order.

How Long We Keep It

If you request a quote and do not go ahead, we keep your enquiry only as long as it is useful to follow up on, and no longer than two years. If you become a customer, we keep records of the work and payment for six years, because Canadian tax rules require us to. Website analytics data is retained according to Google's own retention settings and is not tied to your name.

What You Can Ask Us To Do

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• See what we hold about you — just ask, and we will tell you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete it — we will, except where tax law requires us to keep a record
• Withdraw your consent and ask us to stop contacting you
• Complain — to us first, and to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if we have not resolved it

Turning Tracking Off

The Google services above set cookies in your browser. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or adjust your Google Ad Settings. Blocking them will not stop you using this site or requesting a quote.

How We Protect It

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to do the work. We should be honest that no method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure — but we do not collect payment card details, banking information, or government identification through this website, and we never will.

Young People

This is a service for property owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Updates To This Policy

If our practices change we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information you have already given us will be brought to your attention directly.
